The monitoring performed by the UFAS1 Team involves assessing the state of germination in the experimental area by recording detailed measurements at each growth stage of the three cultivated species  – trigonella, forage pea, and grass pea – 24 days after planting. A soil tester is used to analyze various parameters such as soil moisture, temperature, electrical conductivity, pH levels, and concentrations of key nutrients (nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium). These measurements help tracking the progress and health of the orphan legumes, providing valuable data for further analysis and decision-making.
