The Team of the University of Sfax is leading the second field trial to test the response of orphan legumes to seed priming treatments. The visit of the BENEFIT-Med Coordinator in February 2025 was an excellent opportunity to meet the local Tunisian farmers involved in these participatory activities, and acknlowledge the fundamental contribution of women farmers in the BENEFIT-Med framework. The growth performance of orphan legumes is also tested by the US Team under greenhouse conditions.
