The Conference was organized by the Laboratory of Weed Science of the Benaki Phytopathological Institute-BPI (Dr.  Dimosthenis Chachalis and by the Laboratory of Plant Breeding and Biometry of the Agricultural University of Athens – AUA (Assistant Professor Eleni Tani) in the framework of the BENEFIT-Med project.

The event was held at the Multipurpose Hall of the Agricultural University of Athens. At the conference, researchers and representatives of key BENEFIT-Med stakeholders presented lectures on the exploitation of seed technologies.
